Precise miter cuts at any angle—not just at 45°
With the hedue GL47 miter box, you can cut stucco moldings, ceiling moldings, baseboards, and decorative moldings cleanly and with a perfect fit. The angle can be adjusted continuously from 0° to 45°. It locks into place at the most common angles: 22.5°, 30°, 36°, 45°, and 90°. The angles are clearly marked on a stainless steel scale. This allows you to tackle not only standard room corners but also bay windows with 135° corners, hexagons, octagons, and wall frames.
The body is made of solid beech plywood. The cross-laminated plywood is particularly hard, dimensionally stable, and warp-resistant, ensuring that the slide remains precise even after years of intensive use. It accommodates profiles with a cross-section of up to 16 × 15 cm, including large crown moldings and tall baseboards. You can adjust the metal clamps to the profile height from 2 to 15 cm using wing nuts—no tools required. A 16-cm-wide non-slip mat on the bottom further secures the molding in place.
The tray has metal mounting brackets on both sides. These allow you to securely clamp the tray to your workbench or worktable using standard screw clamps. This keeps it firmly in place even when working with long moldings and making powerful cuts. This ensures precise cuts and safe working conditions.
The miter box is shipped without a saw or angle stop. This means you can use your own trusted tools and avoid paying for accessories you already own. For strips made of polystyrene (Styrofoam), PU, and rigid foam, as well as for wood and MDF, we recommend a fine-toothed hand saw or scroll saw.
