The first rotary laser from hedue came onto the market in 1996. At that time, it was still a device with manual leveling using vials, but a rotary laser with electronic position sensors followed in 1997. Today, all rotary lasers from hedue have motorized self-levelling with an accuracy of at least 1 mm over 10 m. The horizontal leveling accuracy of all hedue rotating lasers is checked digitally and the devices are supplied with a calibration certificate.
